Dreamforce, SaaStr, and SAAS NORTH - Quarter End Update

It was great to finally be back out meeting people face-to-face again! Our team has been busy this quarter with attendance at SaaStr 2022 in San Mateo, followed by Dreamforce in San Francisco in September. We met with dozens of companies during these events and made many new connections, as well as reconnecting with colleagues we haven't seen since the "before time".

Most recently we were in attendance at SAAS NORTH in Ottawa in November. Designed specifically for SaaS companies across a wide range of growth - from startups to scale - this event offers insights and wisdom from founders and investors who have "been there, done that".

Today's environment has got founders thinking how they can best shield themselves from a potential down market, while also setting themselves up to come out the other side even stronger.

There were a number of points that we've talked to companies about in the past few months that we heard echoed throughout sessions in the conference by both founders and private equity teams:
